Super Citizen Award

In partnership with Missouri Valley Conference, Newspapers in Education is recognizing students in grades K through 8 for outstanding citizenship. The following criteria serve as a guideline to assist with the selection of the Super Citizen:
· Highly regarded by staff and students 
· Contributes positively to the classroom, school and the community 
· Contributes to problem-solving in peaceful ways 
· Has demonstrated respect for diversity and the view of others 
· Has an excellent attitude to education and school life 
· Has demonstrated a capacity for civics and is an outstanding citizen of the school 
One grand prize winner will receive four VIP passes for the 2018 State Farm MVC Men’s Basketball Championship on Sunday, March 4 at Scottrade Center. The nominating teacher of the winning student will also receive four VIP passes for the tournament. VIP passes include free soft drinks and light appetizers. 

Runners up will receive a voucher for two single-session tickets to the championship game on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 1 pm. 


Winners will be recognized in a print edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and be posted on the Newspapers In Education website.

Super Citizen Award

In partnership with Missouri Valley Conference, Newspapers in Education is recognizing students in grades K through 8 for outstanding citizenship. The following criteria serve as a guideline to assist with the selection of the Super Citizen:
· Highly regarded by staff and students 
· Contributes positively to the classroom, school and the community 
· Contributes to problem-solving in peaceful ways 
· Has demonstrated respect for diversity and the view of others 
· Has an excellent attitude to education and school life 
· Has demonstrated a capacity for civics and is an outstanding citizen of the school 
One grand prize winner will receive four VIP passes for the 2018 State Farm MVC Men’s Basketball Championship on Sunday, March 4 at Scottrade Center. The nominating teacher of the winning student will also receive four VIP passes for the tournament. VIP passes include free soft drinks and light appetizers. 

Runners up will receive a voucher for two single-session tickets to the championship game on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 1 pm. 


Winners will be recognized in a print edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and be posted on the Newspapers In Education website.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch Newspapers in Education program and the St. Louis Cardinals are pleased to invite your school to join other area 9th through 12th grade students who are recognized for earning an A- average or better in the first semester. "A" Students will receive tickets to a 2018 St. Louis Cardinals Home Game as well as be recognized in a special printed section of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on April 6, 2018.
