Great American Eclipse

August 21, 2017 will be a very different day than others. A total eclipse of the sun will trace a path across the continental United States, from Oregon to South Carolina! People inside a narrow band of totality about 65 miles wide will see a total eclipse, while everyone else in North America will see a partial one. Parts of the St. Louis area fall within that narrow band!

NIE and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch will give you activities and knowledge daily from August 14-18 and August 22 to help you understand and enjoy the eclipse!
