Five University of Missouri-St. Louis students awarded 'Kit' Bond scholarships
Former U.S. Sen. Christopher "Kit" Bond is back in the news, handing out the first batch of <a href="http://nie.post-dispatch.com/%3Ca%20href%3D"https://blogs.umsl.edu/news/2018/12/06/bond-international-scholars/"">https://blogs.umsl.edu/news/2018/12/06/bond-international-scholars/" target="_blank">Bond International Scholars</a> grants — including five to students at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
Receiving the $5,000 checks for studying abroad during the spring 2019 semester were:
Cole Alves, a senior from St. Charles majoring in computer science; Eric Eggers, a senior from Arnold majoring in Japanese from Arnold; Jordan McCain, a sophomore from St. Louis majoring in Spanish and political science; Sara McFarland, a junior from Maryland Heights majoring in Japanese; and Lauren Wilson, a sophomore from Manchester who is majoring in engineering.
