October 14, 2011:

Deadline to order FREE spelling resources from the Post-Dispatch:

2012 SpellCheck in the October 20*, 2011, edition of the Post-Dispatch (delivered), AND the Spelling Bee Activity Pages, appearing in the Post-Dispatch (ePost) on Sundays, October 23 - February 5 (excluding 11/27, 12/25 and 1/1).

*PLEASE NOTE - For those ordering the SpellCheck student study guides after October 14, your delivery date will be Thursday, Nov 10.

October 17, 2011:

Deadline to enroll your school with Scripps National Spelling Bee. (Failure to enroll by the October 17 deadline will result in an additional late fee by Scripps National Spelling Bee.)

February 1, 2012:

Deadline for schools to submit "School Registration and Winner Form" to the Post-Dispatch.

March 10, 2012:

Written Semi-Final Bees for all divisions held at Maryville University.

March 17, 2012:

St. Louis Post-Dispatch Spelling Bee Finals held at Maryville University.
