Happy New Year!

New Year’s Eve or Old Year’s Night is on December 31, the final day of the Gregorian year, and the day before New Year’s Day. New Year’s Eve is often celebrated with parties and social gatherings spanning the transition of the year at midnight. Many cultures use fireworks and noise makers to celebrate. It is also customary to make New Year’s resolutions, which individuals hope to fulfill in the coming year.

As we look ahead to 2019, here are some lessons and activities to discuss traditions, and maybe inspire you to try some new ones!
