Celebrate Geography Awareness Week with NIE and the Missouri Geographical Alliance. This is the 100th anniversary of the National Park system and MGA has created a set of lessons about parks, just for us! Learn about soundscapes and shade trees. In addition we have lessons about the National Parks, the Netherlands and Slovenia.
We’ve compiled a list of practical ideas & fun projects for you & your students to do with any extra copies of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Email us your finished projects to email@example.com for a chance to win great prizes! We may even feature them on the NIE Facebook page!

Only mild edits have been made for words no longer in popular use. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a natural for leading up to Halloween!
